HIPs were introduced by the government to assist with the sale of properties in England & Wales.
An EPC is a key part of the HIP and is the only part that must be completed by qualified assessors such as ourselves (we can and do offer this service to other HIP providers)
It's important that the energy survey is carried out professionally and accurately
as any errors in the assessment could result in your property being graded in
a different band and research has shown that the EPC will influence a buyer’s
decision.
It's also about minimising any inconvenience. Our aim is to complete the survey
within the hour (depending upon the size of the property) and to ensure that
everything we need is obtained first time, every time, with no need for any re-visits.
